Gibraltar National Day, celebrated annually on 10 September, is the official national day of the British overseas territory of Gibraltar. The day commemorates Gibraltar’s first sovereignty referendum of 1967, in which Gibraltarian voters were asked whether they wished to either pass under Spanish sovereignty, or remain under British sovereignty, with institutions of self-government.
But it means so much more than that doesn’t it????
Wikipedia tells it like it is, black upon white, however for us with pride and passion and having lived the story, there is SO MUCH MORE!
WE ARE HUMAN! Without emotion, passion, sense of purpose and pride amongst others, one would lead a very dull life don’t you think? You should love WHAT YOU ARE and WHAT YOU DO? Is that not why we should live for really?
I am touching base with you now that SEPTEMBER is a SMASHING time of year to grab the bulls by the horn and make that step, that leap…
