DO you REALLY know how to RELAX ???

In this busy, busy mad world we now live in life can become very very hectic and therefore stressful, and hopefully by now,  you know how detrimental stress and cortisol are to your health and your fat loss.

So today here’s a very simple relaxation technique you can use any time.

(Why not save this email somewhere safe as you never know when you are gonna need this)

Find a comfortable position

Sitting or lying is fine

Spend the first few moments just noticing and then

deepening your breath.

Then, starting at the top of your head,

focus your attention on one part of your body at a time.

Try to consciously release any tension in that area.

EG Release and relax your scalp,

then your face,

then your jaw,

then your throat etc etc etc

Take as much time as you need with each body part

until you have travelled all the ay down

to the soles of your feet.

It might help to imagine the body parts warming

and sinking into the chair/bed.

You can even contract the muscles and then release, if that helps.

When you have completed the whole process,

just spend a few more minutes resting quietly

before continuing your day.
