1. Your adrenal glands
The hormone-releasing glands may be small, but they are so important in managing your energy levels! Have a little Himalayan salt each morning in water to balance these out.

2. Your gut is struggling
Stress affects everything INCLUDING your gut…look after it with good quality food, plenty of vegetables and cut out processed foods.

3. Lack of sleep
Sleep, as I always say, is SO important in living a healthy lifestyle. Try and go to bed early, swap your stressful morning workout for yoga/pilates and try and create a bedtime relaxing routine.

4. You need a rest
Everyone needs a rest… there is always plenty on the to do list but sometimes you need to ignore it for a little ME time. Chill out with a film or go for a nice walk.

5. Hormones!
Hormones play a big part in how we feel. Cortisol, the stress hormone, plays havoc so make sure you are eating balanced meals and taking the time to relax to lower these. A walk in the outdoors is great for lowering cortisol levels. We all tend to take our health for granted until something goes wrong… take control NOW and look after yourself.
