This week’s blog is short and sweet as I know you are busy people so I wanted to address the benefits of keeping your cool and being calm.

Being anxious about losing weight could be harming your chances of shedding extra pounds, scientists believe.

Have you ever had the experience where you’ve gone on holiday, eaten much more than usual, and lost weight? I know that this has happened practically every holiday!

This is all down to the fact we’re relaxed. Our frame of mind changes our metabolism to such a degree that we can eat more, yet lose weight.

Although, the point is not to reach for absolutely everything you want to eat or take more holidays, but rather more about to let go, relax more and stop stressing over everything for you to achieve a better metabolism.

So if you’re the kind of person who seems to be doing everything right for weight loss but are stuck on the same plateau, ask yourself about stress. No amount of calorie counting or countless hours at the gym

Relax. Stop producing so much cortisol.
